The AGM was held in the St Cross Church, Winchester. Lady Joan Appleyard chaired proceedings and thanked the Master of St Cross for their hospitality and gave the Chairman's Report. Please read the Annual Report & Newsletter 2010 for other reports.
The Chairman thanked Geoff Hughes who was retiring as Membership Secretary and presented him with a gift in grateful appreciation of his contribution to the Trust over many years.
A presentation was made to Sue Armitage, representing the Hatherden with Tangley churches, again, for raising the outstanding sum of £6,918 in the 2010 Ride & Stride
Formal proceedings were followed by a presentation by the Venerable Adrian Harbidge on the churches that received grants and loans from the Trust in 2010. The presentation can be downloaded by clicking here. This was followed by talk from Michael Carden on the many interesting architectural features of St Cross Church. A convivial supper was served afterwards in the Brethren's Hall and the Tea Room.
